To make it simple, I’m really just searching for who I am and who I want to be.
I’m usually fairly shy but I warm up easily once you get me started. I’m always told that I’m an amazing listener. I love listening to people and their problems or issues, I’m not sure why. I think it has something to do with the fact that I love reading just to get enveloped in another world. I usually hold back any comments because I’m scared that I’ll be shunned but I’ll always answer questions as fully and honestly as possible.
I’m a senior in high school right now, trying to focus all my time on math and science. I would some day like to be an ecologist. In my free time I write poetry & prose, draw anime & manga, watch anime, read manga, play bass guitar & piano, play video games, listen to lots of music, and hang out with friends.
I’ve only been into anime and manga for a couple years now. I’ve drawn since I was little but I’ve been trying to get better at it recently. I prefer to draw artistic and cute stuff. My favorite anime are K-ON!, Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, Clannad, Angel Beats, Bakuman, and much more. I read way too much manga to keep track (I try lol) but my top favorites are Black Butler, K-ON, Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, Pandora Hearts, and the classic Fruits Basket.
I love to write but I don’t think I’m very good at it. My mind forms poems constantly but when I write them down they never turn out as expected. I’m also always thinking of plots, situations, and characters to use for short stories. I write some of them but others I just take notes of in case I get inspired later.
I listen to an insane amount of music. I love a lot of variety from acoustic, techno, electronica, soft rock to heavy rock. There’s only a few genres in which I don’t like including: christian, childrens, country, and most classical (lol they all start with C’s). There are some classical songs that I love but only because I play them on the piano.
